Staff Dashboard and tracking

  • The web interface has been redesigned. Selected tabs and filters are preserved in the page address, so the current view can be shared as a link.
  • The daily work plan is shown in one place. The Staff Dashboard summarizes expected time, time within working hours, and time over 24 hours in a single window.
  • BQ scores can be displayed side by side. When the company setting is enabled, working-hours and 24-hour scores appear together on the dashboard and charts; reports can also open with both scores selected.
  • Remote or Office status requires office IPs. The indicator is shown only for companies with office IP addresses configured.
  • The Office Dashboard uses one staff list. The list supports search, sorting, and pagination, shows leave, holiday, training, and working-day status, and loads faster.
  • A company-wide brand color can be selected. The brand color chosen in Appearance settings is applied across the company’s interface.
  • Merged profiles retain the earliest history. Tracking history and the record creation date are aligned with the oldest profile; previously incorrect merges have been corrected.
  • Calendar imports respect tracking status. When calendar integration is enabled, meetings are no longer imported for employees whose tracking is disabled.

Calendars and leave

  • Calendar screens have been updated. My Calendar shows the user’s month in a weekly view; User Calendars has been renamed Team Calendars, with a staff filter and pagination added.

  • Workday actions open from the calendar. Selecting a day shows its status and options to edit working hours, make it a non-working or working day, and add or remove leave. These actions, together with record deletion, can also be applied to multiple days.

  • Hourly leave supports two entry methods. Depending on the company setting, leave hours or working hours can be entered; inconsistent half-day leave hours have been corrected, including existing records.
  • Duplicate daily records are prevented. Duplicate leave or working-day records for the same employee and date are blocked, and existing duplicates have been removed.
  • New leave and request types added. Nursing Leave and Night Shift Compensatory Leave have been added, along with Business Trip, Meeting at Company Location, and Technical Issues requests. Leave, Time Entry, and activity request forms show only options valid for the relevant request.
  • Calendar calculations run per employee. Calculations are queued separately for each employee rather than all at once, allowing companies with large staff counts to complete them without timeouts.

Roles and notifications

  • Roles can be copied and compared. Roles are listed and filtered with descriptions, modules, and permission counts; an existing role can be copied to create a new one, and two roles can be compared side by side.

  • Screenshot status is visible for each employee. When screenshots are enabled for the company, the staff list and Excel export show whether the feature is on for each employee.
  • Notification recipients can be selected by type. Recipients and exceptions can be configured by person or team, including sub-teams, for each notification type.
  • Managers cannot incorrectly approve their own requests. An issue allowing managers who report to another manager to automatically approve their own requests has been fixed.
  • Manager assignments have been corrected. A person cannot be assigned as their own manager, and an issue that also counted managers as team leaders has been fixed.
  • Team assignment errors have been fixed. Duplicate rows in the team list have been removed, and the company record can no longer be selected during team assignment.
  • Notification counts update automatically. Counts refresh after approval, rejection, and refresh actions, as well as at regular intervals.

Security and authentication

  • Requested and approved scopes are separate. Productivity request queues display both scopes and label how a request was applied: employee request, automatic approval, or manager action.
  • Audit Log access is restricted. Only the administrator role with the highest permissions can access the screen.
  • Internal access is limited by IP address. Addresses intended for internal use accept connections only from configured IP addresses.
  • Browser security controls have been strengthened. Cookies cannot be read by browser scripts, request validation has been strengthened, error pages no longer expose internal details, and a content-type security header has been added.
  • File transfers stay within permitted folders. Downloads and agent uploads cannot access locations outside allowed folders; password resets are restricted to secure form submissions.
  • LDAP search queries are protected against misuse. Empty passwords are rejected, and permission group mapping now requires an exact match.
  • LDAP login supports multiple domains. Users can sign in with a domain-prefixed username, an unprefixed username, or an email address.
  • Sign-in methods work with the new interface. Single sign-on (SSO) and session transfer from the agent have been updated, and login links for email addresses containing “+” have been fixed.

Integrations

  • Exchange/Outlook meetings become Time Entry records. When integration is enabled, meetings are imported and filtered by duration, participant count, and accepted attendee count. Meetings crossing midnight are split by day, and employees without email addresses do not stop the import.
  • Turnstile integration added. When enabled, entry and exit records are retrieved from the organization’s system, and the corresponding dates are treated as office workdays.
  • HR and leave imports handle partial days. Half-day, hourly, and same-day leave are merged correctly; leave and training can be imported from SOAP-based systems, with training processed separately for each session day. Leave deleted in the source system is also removed from Berqun.
  • An employee error does not stop the entire import. Flexible scheduling and a test mode are available; the new integration version can send leave, training, and shift records separately.
  • Zoom captures attendance at external meetings. When enabled, the integration records employee attendance at meetings hosted by other organizations, matches recurring meeting participants correctly, records webinar attendees individually, and controls API quota usage.
  • Microsoft Teams supports multiple Azure tenants. When enabled, the integration can match employees by employee number, username, or alias as well as email address; call records show device names and participant details.
  • Meeting processing handles days separately. An error on one day does not affect other days, multiple run times can be configured, and time-zone-related shift issues have been fixed. When the company setting is enabled, screen-locked time during meetings counts as locked time rather than meeting time.
  • Active Directory supports multiple connections. Organization structures can be built per company, domain information can be derived from the organizational unit (OU), and multiple directory connections can be configured. If a connection is unavailable, updates are not applied using incomplete data.

Reporting and data export

  • Scheduled reports have been redesigned. Each report has its own Scheduled Reports view, where recipients can be individuals, teams, or all, with exceptions defined separately. Manager reports go to managers, and staff reports go to employees.
Creating a scheduled report: send time, recipients and exceptions
  • More reports can be scheduled. Staff Productivity, Staff Activity, Remote vs Office, and Monthly Overtime have been added; when no employee is selected, each recipient receives their own report.
  • Report scheduling has a separate permission. The permission is available in role editing and has been automatically added to existing roles that could already export reports.
  • Reports include new totals and comparisons. The Monthly Overtime report includes totals for working days, non-working days, and all days, while Office Productivity includes office workdays. Office Productivity and Remote vs Office also include parent team average pages controlled by a separate permission.
  • Report and notification emails have been redesigned. Scheduled report emails show the reporting period and attachment name, and a broken link has been removed. Offline employee notifications are sent to managers as a single summary email.

  • Excel export issues have been fixed. Fixes cover stuck loading indicators, empty downloads, long worksheet names, and filenames containing Turkish characters; request list exports include all rows and scope columns.
  • Audit exports include activity-level measurements. Keyboard, mouse, and screen-change records have been added to audit data exported from the Staff Dashboard.
  • BI exports include additional records. When business intelligence data export is used, it includes activity-level keyboard, mouse, and screen statistics, as well as leave records and tracking history.

Windows agent

  • Input measurement has been extended. The agent uses an additional method to measure keyboard and mouse usage, and also reports the screen-change rate and its own CPU usage.
  • Updates work more reliably on terminal servers. The update method supports multi-session environments more reliably, and scheduled tasks are created without using the command line.
  • License restrictions are enforced. The Windows agent now operates according to license restrictions.
  • Server connections and data sending are more stable. Redirected server addresses are also used for new user profiles, and invalid data packets produced after sleep or hibernation are not sent.
  • Vivaldi web addresses are recorded. Issues with recording web addresses in Firefox, Opera, and Chrome have also been fixed.

System and general improvements

  • Email and report processing recovers from errors. A single error does not stop the service; temporary sending failures are retried, and it restarts itself when it stops responding.
  • Screenshot storage removes unmatched files. Files without a matching system record are deleted, and the same file can no longer be uploaded repeatedly.
  • Interrupted installations can resume. On-Premise installation and update tools have been divided into modules, and integration components have been added to the installation package.
  • Meeting integrations can use a company proxy. Connections can be configured through the organization’s proxy, with passwords retrieved from a secure store rather than written in plain text in configuration.
  • Language and time zone settings are saved correctly. An issue affecting these values during registration has been fixed.
  • Web address parsing has been corrected. Domain names are extracted correctly; internal browser pages and local file paths are not treated as web addresses.
  • New applications can default to productive. When the company setting is enabled, applications seen for the first time can be classified as productive by default.
